Steering committee
Legal & Advocacy
The committee that shapes how blockchain is regulated across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltics – and keeps the industry informed about what the rules actually are.
Mission
To make the Nordics the best-regulated place in Europe to build a blockchain business: clear rules, reachable authorities, and an industry that is at the table before legislation is written rather than reacting after it.

Read the draft charterWhat it works on
- A current map of the rules. Regulatory mapping across the Nordics and the Baltics, plus a legislation overview covering both EU and national law, published as a legal knowledge hub.
- Consultation responses. A working process for høringsforslag in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, and coordinated industry input on EU files – MiCA 2, DAC8 and CARF – submitted on behalf of the membership rather than company by company.
- Relationships with authorities. A named contact and a recurring conversation with financial supervisors, tax authorities, police and prosecutors in each country.
- Access to the parliaments. Regulatory roundtables and national Blockchain Forums in all four countries, with industry positions to put in front of politicians – beginning with stablecoins.
- A Nordic Blockchain Strategy. The industry's own answer to what the Nordics should want from this technology, written to be handed to a ministry.
