Where industry and authorities shape the rules together.
Three member-led committees turn the industry's expertise into concrete input for tax authorities, regulators and ministries across the Nordics. Each meets bi-monthly, publishes a quarterly update and presents its results at the Nordic Blockchain Conference.
The three committees
Legal & Advocacy
The committee that shapes how blockchain is regulated across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltics – and keeps the industry informed about what the rules actually are.
Best Practices
The committee that turns what the Nordic ecosystem already knows into material any business can use – and finds out where adoption is actually getting stuck.
Finance
The committee that closes the distance between Nordic blockchain founders and the capital that could back them.

Structure
• Open to NBA member companies
• One NBA chairperson per committee
• Working groups of 3–5 members, each with a named member lead
• Any member can propose and lead a working group; the committee approves its purpose
Charter
Every committee has a written charter covering purpose, mission and objectives. Objectives are owned by the committee, not by NBA, and working groups deliver against them with NBA support.
Rhythm
A fixed bi-monthly call hosted by NBA, with a standing agenda: what we do · what we should do. Minutes are circulated after every meeting, each committee publishes a quarterly update, and results are presented at the Nordic Blockchain Conference.
Principles
All work sits within the NBA Code of Conduct. Committees represent the industry, not any single member's commercial interest, and published material is vendor-neutral.
Joining a committee
Committee seats are open to NBA member companies. A seat means attending the bi-monthly call, contributing to at least one working group, and bringing something to the table – regulatory intelligence, adoption experience, or an investor network – rather than only listening. If your organisation would like a seat, get in touch with the Nordic Blockchain Association.
