380.000 crypto owners in Finland - ownership rates drops to 8% of the adult population from last year's 11%

The Nordic Crypto Adoption Survey 2026 shows 380,000 crypto owners in Finland, 145,000 fewer than last year - a drop from 11% to 8% of adults.
Starkly contrasting Finland's record-setting adoption rates in 2025 of 526.000 crypto owners (corresponding to 11% of the adult population), data from the 2026 Finnish Crypto Adoption Survey reveals a significant decline in crypto adoption.
A few highlights:
- 380.000 adults in Finland now own crypto (8% of the adult population).
- This is a decrease of 145.000 owners since the 2025 survey.
- The estimated Finnish crypto wealth is €5 billion (or $5.8 billion).
- Nevertheless, 23% of adults in Finland expect to own crypto in the next 10 years.
